By uniting producers, investors, equipment manufacturers, offtakers across multiple industries, and policymakers, the Alliance allows actors within the sector to coordinate efforts. We facilitate market alignment, demand aggregation, and international standards development, establishing a ground truth that turns policy momentum into tangible deployment.

What Will the Alliance Achieve?

Currently, the hydrogen sector is constrained by fragmented supply, uncertain demand, and a critical "midstream bottleneck"—the transport, storage, logistics, and delivery required to connect production to end users. Optimizing production, liquefaction, transport, or dispensing in isolation is insufficient; the entire value chain must be optimized as a whole.

  • Create a Green Hydrogen Spot Market: Facilitate the adoption of the strictest standards for renewable-based hydrogen, enabling GLHA-aligned hydrogen to trade transparently in any global market.

Why LH₂ as Opposed to Derivatives?

While derivatives like ammonia or methanol are frequently discussed for decarbonization, they require additional conversion steps that introduce significant efficiency losses and logistical burdens, while continuing to emit GHGs.
